We at A & C have been designing and
manufacturing world class broadcast equipment for Film and TV for
over thirty five years.
We know that the demands made on
technicians and equipment in our industry today is incredibly demanding and time
sensitive. For us to remain successful, keeping these values at the top of our
list is essential.
Maintaining these values, has given our clients
reliable equipment, which consistently produces superb results, at affordable
costs. We believe that producing good equipment is essential to our success but
after sales support is an absolute necessity. We make sure that our clients
enjoy both.
From concept to design and development, all the way through
to manufacture and after sales support, our aim is to give every client a
service second to none.
Our original professional remote camera heads
were built in 1986. These initial systems were recognized as being amongst the
first systems to be truly practical and reliable. Since then, our development of
these products has been continuous, keeping us amongst the world leaders in this
demanding field.
Academy Award Winners
In February 2006
the Academy of
Motion Picture Arts and
Sciences, presented Technical Achievement Awards for the year 2005 to Frank
Fletcher and Dave Sherwin. This was for the introduction and continuing
development of the Power Pod modular camera head system.
Our Products
A&C's range of Remote Heads are probably the most versatile and practical
available to the Film and Television market. From the beginning our Engineers at
A&C knew what they wanted to achieve, a Head that the operator would have
built for himself - one that delivers exceptional performance and smooth
response without compromising reliability.
Our range of POWER-POD and
PEE-POD Remote Heads have achieved their success by proving their ability to
capture those shots which would otherwise be too dangerous or impractical,
whether filming birds in flight, a sports event or any hostile environment. Our
Remote Heads cope with it all, keeping the crew at a safe distance and obtaining
the moves that would normally be impossible.
